Premium Seed & Cutting Mix

HALS Professional Premium Seed & Cutting Mix has been specially developed for use where young plants, seedlings, seeds and cuttings require a finely textured growing medium to encourage strong root development and reduce the risk of transplant shock.

HALS Professional Premium Seed and Cutting Mix is a blend of composted pine bark, coir peat, washed sand and controlled release fertiliser, providing excellent drainage, aeration and water retention.

HALS Professional Premium Seed & Cutting Mix meets the highest levels of quality which is why it is proudly certified to meet the Premium Red Tick Australian Standards AS3743.

Directions of Use

Ensure container has adequate drainage holes. Fill container with potting mix. Sow seeds or place cuttings as required. Cover lightly with potting mix if necessary. Water gently to avoid disturbing seeds or cuttings. Keep mix moist but not waterlogged. Place in a warm, sheltered position out of direct sunlight until established.

Cutting Propagation

Select healthy new growth. Remove lower leaves and insert cutting into potting mix. Keep moist and protected from extreme conditions. Once roots have formed, transplant into a suitable potting mix.
