HALS Professional Tom & Veg Growing Mix

HALS Professional Tomato & Vegetable Growing Mix is a specific blend of premium horticultural potting media tailored for thriving tomatoes and bountiful veggie crops. Whilst specially designed for tomatoes and vegetables this mix can also be safely used for a wide range of other plant types. The blend includes coir fibre, a 6 month controlled release fertiliser, water crystals and wetting agent to help the growing mix evenly wet and avoid becoming hydrophobic.

Directions of Use

HALS Professional Tomato & Vegetable Growing Mix can be used in pots as well as for in ground planting. Use as much as required for the job. Once the plant is in the ground or pot, firmly press down around the plant and apply more mix if required. Thoroughly water in after potting or planting. Add appropriate fertiliser for the plant you are growing as required.

Plant Care

Re-pot plants as needed, generally every 12 months until they reach a stable size. Check that plant roots are not protruding from the base of the pot, as this is a good indicator that the plants need to be re-potted.
